TRADITIONAL AFTERNOON TEA RETURNS TO THE PFISTER® HOTEL

The Pfister®Hotel is delighted to announce the return of its afternoon tea beginning this holiday season. Now through Sunday, Mar. 29, 2015, guests can experience The Pfister’s Victorian heritage with traditional afternoon tea in Blu, located on the 23rd floor of the hotel.

The Pfister Hotel will bring back its signature blend, Pfister 1893, which was exclusively crafted in 2013 in conjunction with Milwaukee-based Rishi Tea. Pfister 1893 features a blend of jasmine and wild rose scented white teas infused with rejuvenating peppermint and calming lavender.

This season’s featured teas consist of 12 varieties, including but not limited to Cinnamon Plum, Tangerine Ginger, Vanilla Bean and Chocolate Chai. Depending on the package selected, afternoon tea is served with an assortment of fresh scones, cheeses, sandwiches and pastries.

“Afternoon Tea nicely complements our traditional offerings and further enhances the guest experience,” said Tim Smith, general manager of The Pfister Hotel. “The hustle and bustle of the holiday season is quickly approaching and afternoon tea is the perfect occasion for guests to relax and treat themselves to The Pfister’s premier service and stunning views of the Milwaukee skyline. Our tea service extends throughout the winter months to keep guests warm until spring returns.”

To provide for a more personalized experience, The Pfister offers a Tea Butler who attends to every detail of service – providing information on each tea’s origin, blending options, and food and flavor pairing suggestions. The Tea Butlers use an all-silver service and individual brewing units for each style of tea to ensure that tea varieties are brewed to the correct temperature.

Afternoon tea is held Friday to Sunday from Nov. 1, 2014 through Mar. 29, 2015. Seatings are available at 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. and reservations are required. Reservations can be made online at customercare@marcushotels.com or over the phone at 414.935.5942.
